Boosting driving excitement with IONIQ 5 N
- Hyundai Motor to demonstrate how Hyundai N’s first EV can positively influence drivers’ moods
- Neuroscientist to measure biological and neurological changes in chosen inhabitants of Rjukan, Norway while test-driving IONIQ 5 N
- Experiment to be conducted in February 2024
Offenbach, 15 January 2024 – Hyundai Motor will demonstrate how driving the all-new IONIQ 5 N can spark excitement in drivers. In a novel experiment, the company’s first high-performance electric car will prove that it is not just an everyday sportscar but that it can boost drivers’ moods.
Filling drivers with excitement
For five days during the peak of winter, the all-new IONIQ 5 N will be brought to Rjukan, Norway – one of the darkest places in Europe. There, a selected group of locals will have the opportunity to go on exhilarating test drives in IONIQ 5 N.
The company is exploring the field of neuroscience by observing how driving the all-electric sportscar positively affects the mind and body. Before and after each test drive, a neuroscientist will measure the biological and neurological changes of the drivers. For the first time, scientific data will record and back up the claim that, with IONIQ 5 N, customers ‘never just drive’.
“This experiment is a unique opportunity. Working with a neuroscientist, Hyundai will prove how the all-electric and high-performance driving experience of the all-new IONIQ 5 N can boost excitement in drivers – even during the darkest of winters,” said Andreas-Christoph Hofmann, Vice President Marketing, Product & PR at Hyundai Motor Europe. “This experiment underscores Hyundai’s commitment to not only meeting the pragmatic mobility needs of our customers but also addressing their emotional aspirations with innovation.”
The experiment will be conducted in February of this year. A website with more info will follow soon.
