SEOUL, November 7, 2025 – Since its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July, the Hyundai IONIQ 6 N has ignited excitement among driving enthusiasts eager to experience the high-performance electric vehicle (EV) firsthand.

This week, that excitement becomes a reality as Hyundai Motor Company welcomes international media to the Korea International Circuit in Yeongam, offering them the chance to put the IONIQ 6 N through its paces ahead of the model’s launch in international markets, beginning in early 2026.

IONIQ 6 N is designed to deliver unparalleled driving excitement with its three-pillar philosophy: Corner Rascal, Racetrack Capability, and Everyday Sportscar. This vision seamlessly blends track-ready performance with daily usability, setting a new benchmark for high-performance EVs.

Building on the technical achievements of the acclaimed IONIQ 5 N, the IONIQ 6 N delivers an even more distinct N-focused design and features, offering enhanced performance and differentiation. It introduces a next-generation driving feel, engineered to deliver unparalleled driving pleasure and excitement. Additionally, IONIQ 6 N is specifically optimized for track performance, featuring newly developed hardware and software tailored for high-intensity driving scenarios, ensuring peak capability and precision on the circuit.

Key technical advancements include a fully redesigned suspension geometry for superior handling, an enhanced N e-Shift (virtual gear shift) system retuned with shorter gear ratios, and improved sound quality achieved through upgraded hardware and meticulous acoustic fine-tuning — all of which creates a truly engaging and immersive driving experience.

Corner Rascal: Exhilarating Agility on Road and Track

IONIQ 6 N delivers exceptional cornering precision, combining advanced suspension geometry with a reengineered chassis for superior handling. Stroke-sensing Electronically Controlled Suspension (ECS) dampers and a lowered roll center work together to enhance grip and stability, ensuring confidence-inspiring performance on winding roads and tight circuits.

Its enhanced suspension geometry not only lowers the roll center for improved high-limit stability but also integrates new bushing applications to balance sporty handling with quiet comfort. Electronic Limited Slip Differential (e-LSD) actively manages wheel torque, boosting traction and overall performance. Complementary upgrades to axle stiffness, steering precision, and mount damping further reduce vibration while enhancing ride comfort and refinement across all road surfaces.

Aerodynamic enhancements, such as a motorsport-inspired swan neck rear wing and widened fenders, provide downforce and reduce drag to a mere 0.27 Cd, providing enhanced stability during high-speed cornering. These elements not only optimize performance but also accentuate IONIQ 6 N’s aggressive, track-ready aesthetics.

IONIQ 6 N also features enhanced body rigidity, reinforced with more weld points, adhesives and structural upgrades to optimize high-performance driving. IONIQ 6 N’s advanced integrated power electronics (PE) system delivers significantly higher efficiency and output compared to the standard model, unlocking maximum driving performance. At the front, a high-efficiency, high-output drive system seamlessly combines the motor, reducer and inverter, while the rear motor serves as the primary drive unit for powerful propulsion. ​

Generating an impressive 650 PS (478 kW) and 770 Nm of torque¹, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds (with N Launch Control) and reaches a top speed of 257 km/h (approximately 160 mph).

IONIQ 6 N boasts N e-Shift, Hyundai N’s innovative shift control feature that replicates close gear ratios inspired by motorsports. This system intensifies responsiveness and amplifies the connection between driver and car, working in perfect harmony with key performance capabilities like N Launch Control, N Drift Optimizer, N Grin Boost and N Torque Distribution. IONIQ 6 N’s striking Performance Blue Pearl exterior finish, along with its widened fenders, embodies its high-performance identity. The model is equipped with 20-inch forged wheels, while drivers seeking a personalized touch can enhance their vehicle with N performance parts – track-inspired upgrades designed for both street and circuit use. ​

Additional exterior color options include Serenity White Pearl, Nocturne Grey Matte, Nocturne Grey Metallic and Abyss Black Pearl. The interior comes in Black Monochrome with Performance Blue accents. Bucket seats are finished in Alcantara suede and genuine leather.

The interior design is optimized for limit-driving to deliver peak performance. It features an exclusive N Pasubio steering wheel with center mark and N1/N2 buttons for refined grip feel and rapid control. Precision braking and stable pedal response are achieved through N-exclusive metal pedals, enhancing limit-driving performance and intuitive control. Welcome lighting on the front N logo, real aluminum N emblem on the seatback, and Alcantara suede paired with genuine leather deliver a premium high-performance feel.
