- 2024: an excellent year, packed with new products and updates
- A nearly complete renewal of the model range
- 2025: The work continues
Kontich, 12 December 2024. Dear members of the press, we are delighted to share a press kit with you at this time of year. Because 12 months ago, there was no sign that we would ever have the opportunity to meet again at an event that is so close to our hearts: the Brussels Motor Show. So, after a year's break, the event is back with renewed vigor. Let's hope that this time it's for good.
For this 101st edition we will be showcasing no fewer than 18 of our Hyundai models and versions in Hall 6.
2024: an excellent year
Let's start with the biggest performance of the year: in only 12 months nearly the entire model range was renewed or received an update. There were updates for Bayon, IONIQ 5, i30, Staria, and Tucson.
New versions such as the i20 N Line, the Kona Electric N Line were introduced and the very sporty IONIQ 5 N, to our great pride, managed to win over even the most demanding petrolheads in your profession. To top things off, the all-new generation of our flagship Santa Fe made its appearance on the BeLux market.
It is impossible to summarize Hyundai's excellent year without mentioning the success that made an entire country proud: the first drivers' title for Thierry Neuville and Martijn Wydaeghe, at the end of an exciting WRC 2024 season was simply breathtaking.
2025, keep on pushing
If you think that 2024 was a crazy year for Hyundai, wait until you see what happens next.

The Belgian public will discover the latest addition to Hyundai's EV line-up, INSTER, for the very first time at Brussels Motor Show. To our great pride, INSTER also is one of the 7 finalists in the Car of the Year 2025 election.

We will also be showcasing the crossover variant of the family, the INSTER Cross.
European premiere: IONIQ 9
Unveiled only very recently in Los Angeles, the all-new IONIQ 9 electric SUV will cross the Atlantic for its European Premiere in Brussels.
Concept Car: INITIUM
The IONIQ 9 will not be the only eyecatcher on the Hyundai booth, as INITIUM, Hyundai's hydrogen fuel cell concept vehicle showcasing the company's new design language "Art of Steel", will also be on display for the very first time in Europe.
2024 FIA WRC Drivers' and Co-Drivers' title Winners
2024 FIA World Rally Championship Drivers’ and Co-drivers’ title winners Thierry Neuville and Martijn Wydaeghe will bring us a visit on January 10 to reflect on their success following the season finale Rally Japan.
To celebrate their title an i20 N WRC Show car will be on display at our booth.
